EXPLORER DOME is a portable planetarium visiting schools and colleges across the South West. Based in Bristol, we present exciting, interactive shows on many different science topics which complement and enhance the National Curriculum and aim to make science inspiring for all ages and abilities.
Inside the magical atmosphere of the Dome, our lively, hands-on science shows are presented by talented science presenters. With the experience to pitch the shows at the right level, we aim to involve the students, encourage questions and create a more personal experience for every child.
Explorer Dome began in 1998 and has become one of the most well respected science outreach programmes in the UK. Our team of professional and enthusiastic presenters bring science alive to 60 000 children every year.
