JILL RANDALL makes sculpture and installations, and undertakes public sculpture
commissions. She has exhibited her work extensively in the UK and abroad, and been the
recipient of many awards.
Jill can offer sculpture workshops linked to specific themes in a variety of sculpture
materials .Recent themes are “Transformations”, mixing mechanical and animal forms to
create new hybrid sculptures, insect and animal sculpture, “calaveras”- skeletons with
attitude – from the “Day of the Dead” in Mexico, (which Jill recently visited), and “Sheds and
Shelters”.
Sculpture materials are found-object assemblage, recycled and reclaimed materials,
sculpture in wire, and sculpture modelling in various media. Jill has also worked with
children and young people to produce designs and scale models for public art commissions.
Jill will bring all tools, materials and visual resources, and is prepared to travel widely.
