Newfound Theatre has over 10 years experience within education. Working alongside partners such as Aim Higher, The Greater Challenge, the BBC and the NHS to provide the very best Theatre in Education packages. We can offer one off or multiple sessions in drama, devising, improvisation, mask, puppetry, circus, parachute, music, dance, singing, creative writing, curriculum focused and issue based drama inc. drugs, body image, healthy eating, stress, bullying and other topics We can also mix and match sessions i.e.: drama, mask and singing.
Performance
We can offer performance packages wherein the students can devise their own performance based on any topic. Or we can direct an already written production with them, complete with or without set, music and costume (budget dependant). We also offer professional performances in school on topics such as Bullying, Teen Pregnancy, Healthy eating, The olympics, knife crime, sex education….

Storytelling and Shadow puppetry
We can offer services of professional storytellers and puppeteers and we also have a heart warming shadow show for primary ” The Dragon and the Dormouse” – a tale of friendship with links to identity, diversity and healthy eating.

Making Monologues – GCSE English / Drama
Newfound˙s successful Making Monologues project can now be offered to you, either as a one off session, multiple, or even as a full summer school. Making Monologues is a performance /workshop which involves students watching a performance of monologues and creating their own pieces of writing (Can be submitted as coursework or used as exam prep).
