The Junior Chefs Academy has been helping hundreds of schools across the North West to achieve healthy eating status.Their ‘hands on’ cookery workshops promote a healthy attitude to learning about and having fun with food. Junior chefs have a wildly different concept in delivering the healthy eating message. Sessions are vibrant and educational linking with National curriculum topics.Working with 4 classes per day, nursery through to Y6 all pupils take home their own masterpiece,personalised chefs hat,apron and recipe pack at the end of the day! Junior Chefs were runners up in the Liverpool Echo/ MSIF new business awards 2009 for their contribution to tackling childhood obesity.
