About:

humanutopia create and run inspirational, life-changing courses for students of all ages and staff in schools.

Since 2004 we have worked with almost 250,000 young people and 40,000 adults. 13 of our current 20 full time staff members are young people who have been volunteers on our programmes.

We help empower young people to take control of their actions and improve their lifechances. We have developed a unique Theory of Change model, which helps our teams of Facilitators create immediate and strong relationships with large groups of students. The main 5 outcomes for all our courses are to help young people develop hope, build confidence, become happier, establish great relationships and acquire employability skills empowering them to make positive changes in their lives.

"This was the most amazing thing that has happened to me in so long. I mean I was talking about giving up and then you just came, it's like you just knew the right time... this has changed my life." Student from Stoke-on-Trent, Jan 2015

"Students were participating in a project entitled ‘HumanUtopia’. This involves a group of external consultants working with students for three days, raising aspirations and offering time and space to reflect on themselves and their personal qualities. This project is having a positive effect on students’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development." Ofsted (Ormiston Shelfield Comminity Academy), March 2015
