The Fun Food Chef is so much more than just cooking! Yes we offer fun, educational cooking workshops to Primary and Secondary schools and youth organisations, however they are delivered with the vim and vigour you demand as part of modern teaching of the Creative Curricular. Our topic related sessions range from World War Two to the Greeks & Olympics to Chinese New Year and the Romans. Our sessions will inspire your children through food.
All our sessions support Healthy School commitments and see the children cook and prpare up to 7 dishes.
Just to wet your appetite an example menu from our Greek session is below
Greek Meze
- Greek Pita Bread
- Keftethes Lamb meat balls (video recipe available)
- Hummus chickpea dip
- Tomato & Feta Salad
- Tzatziki Yoghurt Dip
- Olives to taste
- Orange & berry smoothie
Of course it is all about taste and your children discovering the fun of discovering new flavours and at the end of each session the children and teachers enjoy the meal they have prepared.
Some of the sessions can be seen below;
Spanish Indian Olympics Beatles & River Mersey French British Medieval The Sandwich African Greek Ancient Egypt Caribbean World War Two Jubilee/Coronation The Seaside Pizza and More Mexican The Romans
We provide everything from the all ingredients, production equipment, hand wash station, and cooking equipment. All you need is the space to make this happen.
