For 13 years, Cairo Comes To School has been providing Egyptian Music & Dance workshops. The session begins with 30min presentation of dance in Egypt (Ancient & Modern) followed by 30min workshops for each half of the class. The other half have a percussion workshop if the Musician is requested (80% of schools book both) and instruments from Ancient Egypt are demonstrated. This all culminates in The Show in which all pupils perform with another Year Group attending as an audience. Sample prices: 1 class (2hrs) Dancer only within M25 £100 & £20 Travel; 2 or 3 classes (4hrs) Dancer & Musician in Home Counties £290 & £30 Travel. For 4-6 classes see website.
