“It takes me two years to write a play, let’s write yours in two hours.” This is my challenge to the students in my workshops – which they love! "I am currently writing my next play for a major UK TV and stage name ready for production in 2013. I want to share with students this amazing period when a play is born, produced and performed. I want to demystify it all, make it totally accessible so they can capture the joy of writing and participating themselves.” Chris's new play Charlie Bangers premiered at the Lowry Theatre in September 2011 and tours nationally in 2012. His new play, 'Hurricane Hill' will be his seventh. He’s been a playwright, director and producer and has owned his own production company since 1998. He has toured nationally twice, had three Edinburgh Festival and three, one-month London runs during that time. He also writes poetry, radio plays, screenplays, novels and children's stories. He’s touring schools in the UK bringing drama to life.
