I am an artist/designer specialising in mosaic as a medium, I have been working in schools; mostly Primary for many years.
I am interested in helping you make a memory in your school, Mosaic Workshops can be run as afterschool clubs and /or in the daytime as part of a curriculum project.
I have worked on murals in schools where I become a resident artist for a period of time and work with the children and sometimes the wider community to produce a Mosaic Mural for inside or outside.
I like to encourage use of recycled materials in the tesserae such as old china, buttons, ceramic tiles, beads etc encouraging students to think about the different components that can be used in mosaic. I also teach a history of Mosaic and show examples of current artists around the world including myself who use it as a medium.
