Children love to get hands on with clay, it's so tactile!
The tricky bit is what to make with it? That's where I can help!
I have been running clay workshops in schools for the last ten years and have over 120 cross-curricular projects to choose from which are suitable for Reception up to Year 6.
From flowers, fish and spiders to Gladiators, Vikings and Minotaurs, I have a project for practically everything in the curriculum!
Each workshop consists of a demonstration to the whole class, the children are then given easy to follow step by step instruction sheets whilst they are making their clay model. Workshops can last up to an hour and a half depending on the age of the children and the subject matter. I supply the clay and the tools. The cost for each workshop is £50.00 (minimum 2 workshops per booking) plus travel expenses. One class per workshop. Please note that I do not have access to a kiln and all work is left at school.
