We’re Tonya & Natasha, storytelling sisters and authors of a range of stories about a little dog called Pojo. Pojo gets itchy paws and goes off on adventures whilst his owner Sam is asleep or goes to school.
We offer an exciting range of workshops for story writing, storytelling and puppet making based on our multi-award-winning creative storytelling kits.
Kids love making puppets and they’re an ideal way to get children interacting with story. Children also love meeting real authors and our writing workshops are an ideal way to inspire and motivate even the most reluctant readers and writers to write a story, we guarantee it!
In Pojo's Roman Conquest he found himself in the middle of a chariot race at Cirencester's great amphitheatre. But a day out at the amphitheatre turns into an action packed adventure for Pojo. Can he survive a close encounter with a panther? Will he be able to win Crispus his freedom from Rufus' bullying ways and just who will win the chariot race?
Is your budget tight at the moment?
We can help you raise funds for your school. For every book we sell at the workshop we’ll give your school £1 to either spend on resources from our Learning Through Stories catalogue, staff training or you can take it off the cost of the workshop. So, if we sell 50 books, you’ll receive £50. We’ll sign every book, so the children will have something to treasure long after our visit.
Do you want to engage the parents?
We will also include a FREE parent workshop when you book any of our workshops. Not all parents feel confident reading to their children or may be short on time, so we’ll help them to develop stories with their children through games that they can play anywhere. The parent workshops need to be run on the same day as the children’s workshop.
We can adapt workshops to suit your themes and tailor them to your requirements, just drop us a message and we’ll get you sorted.
So why not kick off your topic with a WOW moment and book Pojo to come into your school.
We work with primary schools, nurseries, pre-schools, after school clubs, childminders, libraries and charity fun days in Wiltshire, Berkshire, Hampshire and Gloucestershire.
